A.S.C. will have two different ways to submit your AMV's The first is our informal AMV SHOWCASE The second is our more formal AMV COMPETITION AMV SHOWCASE The AMV showcase is a place for you to have your AMV screened for con goers without entering it into competition. Anyone registered for Atlanta Supercon can submit an AMV to be screened. Here are the rules for submissions: (1) Your submission must be your own creation. (2) Submissions must be PG-13; No nudity or extreme language. (If you can’t see it or say it on TV, you can't use it here) (3) Entries must be no shorter than one minute and no longer than six minutes. (4) At least 80% of submissions must be put to music and include animated footage. (5) All entries may be submitted by anyone pre-registered for the convention. (6) AMV's entered may not have won any awards at another convention prior to 2008, as we want to keep the competition fresh. If you've won an award at another convention this year (2008) it's ok to enter, but if you've won in the past (2007 or earlier) the AMV will not be allowed to compete, but may be shown in the AMV showcase. The showcase AMV's will be screened three times over the course of the weekend. There will be a block of screening on each day of the con (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) to give everyone an opportunity to see your AMV The AMV showcase will be limited to the first 30 AMV's submitted (so we can keep each AMV block to 2 1/2 hours) For deadlines and submission info, see the rules for the AMV COMPETITION below. It's the same for both AMV sections. AMV COMPETITION The AMV competition is a place for you to have your AMV screened for con goers and included in competition.
